Kenny Young

President, B. Riley Financial, Inc., and CEO, B. Riley Principal Investments

Kenneth M. Young (Kenny) has served as a member of our board of directors since April, 2018. Kenny, currently serves as President of B. Riley Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: RILY) since July 2018, Chief Executive Officer at Babcock & Wilcox (NYSE: BW) since November 2018 and Chief Executive Office at B. Riley Merger Corp. (NYSE: BRPM) since February 2019. Additionally, Mr. Young serves as Chief Executive Officer for B. Riley Principal Investments, MagicJack VocalTec, and United Online, all wholly-owned subsidiaries of B. Riley Financial. Mr. Young has more than 30 years of operational, executive and director experience primarily within the communications and finance industries. Previously, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Americas at Lightbridge Communications Corporation (“LCC”) before being appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2008. Prior to joining LCC, Mr. Young has held various senior executive positions with multiple corporations including Liberty Media, Cingular Wireless, SBC Wireless, Southwestern Bell Telephone and AT&T as part of his 16-year tenure within the now combined AT&T Corporation. Mr. Young is currently a member of the board for Orion Energy Systems, a LED lighting and intelligent controls company since August 2017, Inc. and Franchise Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRG), a provider of tax services, since August 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Graceland University and an MBA from the University of Southern Illinois.
