HIGH PERFORMANCE NFC MODULE

NFC module powered with InsideSecure’s 3rd generation MicroRead® nfc chipset. Built on the battery cover for best antenna performance and tag read/write range up to 4 cm in less than 2 seconds. That means it will read the tag 99% of the time without failure, improves productivity. It can read all NFC Forum tags Type 1 to Type 4 and supports NFC Forum defined Data Exchange Format NDEF 1.0 and Record Type Definition (RTD).

LONG LASTING BATTERY

1750mAh battery with efficient power management delivers 20 to 24 hours of talk time, 800 hours of stand-by time. It lasts for up to 5 days (113 hours) with NFC tag reading without GPS and 31 hours of both NFC tag reading and GPS tracking at 3 minutes interval. The tag and location data (only for GPS device) are sent over GPRS/EDGE data connection to the backend server in real-time. That means, the device will fully functional for 2 shifts back-to-back (16 hrs) in one single charge.

J2ME SDK

J2ME open application development environment with JSR 257 JDK for NFC integration. Systems APIs are exposed to applications for background mode operations and access to the keypads for application configurations. Java Application Manager (JAM) app store and client for application deployment, distribution and provisioning.
