Investment Director: Robin Murray – Partner, 3i

Robin Murray joined the 3i US team in 2001. Robin focuses on internet and wireless software, applications and services. He currently serves on the Board of Mobileway and Sonim Technologies. Robin brings to 3i significant experience in management, and a strong background in operational and strategic roles from both startup and traditional firms. Before joining 3i, Robin served as the COO and CFO of iPIN – an enterprise software company for wireless and internet payments. Prior to IPIN, he served as a senior executive with THINK New Ideas where he managed finance and the operations area on the West Coast. Robin was also an executive at J. Sainsbury PLC (FTSE-100), where he identified and implemented new business opportunities and oversaw corporate acquisitions and disposals. In Europe, Robin worked at Ernst & Young and McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategic marketing and provided corporate finance advice to European-based multinational companies. Robin holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Chemistry from Bristol University, England. He is a chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.

BV Capital

BV Capital is an independent venture capital fund with international investors such as Bertelsmann AG, AOL Time Warner, Stanford University and Mayfield Fund. It is the successor to Bertelsmann Ventures, LP, and has offices in San Francisco, California; Hamburg, Germany and Paris, France. The four founding members of the firm have extensive experience in the Internet, electronic media and telecommunications industries. BV Capital primarily focuses on early stage investments in the media, communications, infrastructure, enabling technologies and wireless application markets. Investment Director: Mathias Schilling - General Partner, BV Capital

Mathias Schilling is a Partner at Bertelsmann Ventures and a General Partner at BV Capital. He has been with BV since its inception in 1997 and served as a board member of several portfolio companies. Mathias has been instrumental in the setup of BV Capital and focuses on US investments in the areas of media, wireless, and software, primarily operating out of the San Francisco office of BV Capital. Prior to BV he was employed by Bertelsmann AG as a consultant where he worked with Jan Henric Buettner, founding General Partner of BV Capital and Bertelsmann Ventures, on the negotiation and execution of several joint venture and M&A transactions. His previous work experience also includes Bertelsmann's Book Group in New York as well as the consultancy firm Roland Berger & Partner in Paris. Mathias received his Master's degree in Finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Bob Plaschke - Chief Executive Officer

Bob Plaschke recently served as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Sutter Hill Ventures focusing on wireless investments. Before joining Sutter Hill Ventures, Bob was senior vice president of worldwide client services at InfoSpace, where he was responsible for the implementation of wireless data solutions for the company's worldwide group of carriers. Before joining InfoSpace, he was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Business Development at Prio, a wireless and wireline promotion infrastructure company. Bob earned an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago and received his undergraduate degree in computer engineering from Northwestern University.
