Sonim partners with leading manufacturers to provide in-vehicle solutions with optional locking capability for Sonim handsets, to prevent theft or tampering. Specifications are provided in datasheets.

Some accessories are full-duplex, including wired and Bluetooth PTT headsets. Some accessories are half-duplex. Specifications are provided in datasheets.

Some accessories provide noise cancellation via the handset only (single-mic & near-end NC), and other accessories include DSP, noise suppression or cancellation. Specifications are provided in datasheets.

The PTT application enables channel selection. Channel Selection works on Kodiak Motorola Solutions powered PTT 9.1 (or greater/later) release for smartphones and 9.0.3 (or greater/later) release for feature phones. Channel Selection is also compatible with ESChat, which is mobile operator agnostic. A PTT provider may reach out to Sonim at [email protected] for more information on enabling channel selection.

Some RSMs include an emergency button, which is typically linked to the emergency button on the Sonim handset.

Each RSM has a 3.5mm connector to connect a wired listen-only earpiece. The optional listen-only earpiece redirects the receive audio, while still transmitting audio through the RSM. This is necessary when in a situation where you don’t want audio broadcasted from the RSM.

Sonim and partners offer plastic holsters, pouches and RSMs with and without Channel Selection.

Please reach out to Sonim at [email protected], provide your contact information (Company, Name, Phone Number, Email Address) and detailed information regarding the request for interface information.
